About the position

The Videographer Intern position at Morehead City Marlins offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about storytelling through video. This internship focuses on hands-on experience in sports media production, allowing interns to contribute to various video projects that promote the Marlins brand and engage with the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in capturing, editing, and producing promotional videos to promote the Marlins brand.
• Shoot and edit game-day highlights and recaps in a timely manner for use across digital platforms.
• Contribute and assist in the production of long-form storytelling videos that showcase the team's journey, behind-the-scenes moments, and player spotlights.
• Support community initiatives by creating engaging content off-the-field and participating in volunteer events when available.
• Create content that highlights the Marlins' community efforts, special events, and charitable activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to create content and support brand marketing initiatives throughout the season.
• Provide video content for social media to elevate the Marlins' digital presence and fan engagement.
• Use established video production skills while working in a collaborative environment and continue to develop new techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Experience in video production, editing, and graphic design (with a portfolio or examples of previous work).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required during the season.
