About the position

The Videographer internship at Sanford Mainers involves capturing engaging video content during home and away games, as well as community events, to enhance the brand image of the team. The role requires collaboration with the Director of Photography & Creative and the Director of Broadcasting & Media to produce content for social media and media personnel.

Responsibilities

• Travel with the team for home and away games to capture video content.
• Attend all community events hosted by the Mainers and document them.
• Organize and archive video footage after each event.
• Assist in creating content for social media posts and video features.
• Collaborate with media personnel for any required video content.

Requirements

• Experience shooting live sports.
• Experience in video editing, preferably with Adobe Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce video content during and after games.
• Must have own equipment, including a high-speed camera capable of capturing fast-paced sports details.
• A minimum 75-300mm kit lens is required, with the ability to shoot in 1080p and 60fps.
• Extreme attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Proactive with content ideas and creative shots.
• Availability between June 1 and August 15.
