About the position

We are seeking a skilled videographer/cinematographer for an upcoming documentary project scheduled for this Wednesday in Los Angeles. The role involves following a presenter for approximately 5 to 6 hours across various locations that are in close proximity to each other. The videographer will be responsible for capturing the presenter's comments on specific subjects, which will include both walking shots in the street and staged sit-down interviews. This position requires a creative individual who can effectively document the narrative in a visually engaging manner, ensuring high-quality footage that aligns with the documentary style.

Responsibilities

• Follow the presenter for about 5 hours in different locations.
• Record the presenter's comments on specific subjects.
• Capture walking shots in the street and staged sit-down areas.
• Ensure high-quality video production using the required equipment.

Requirements

• Must have a DJI Ronan or equivalent stabilizer.
• Must possess a lav mic that can be hidden under clothing.
• Basic lighting equipment is required.
• A tripod is necessary for stable shots.
• Prime lenses and high-quality wide zoom lenses are essential.
• Experience in filming documentary style and interviews is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with framing vertical videos for Instagram is a plus.
