About the position

We are seeking an occasional videographer to capture sword fighting bouts, tutorials, and skits for our club in Lorain, Ohio. The role involves recording dynamic action in a fencing studio and various downtown locations, with a focus on following direction and ensuring high-quality footage.

Responsibilities

• Record sword fighting bouts and tutorials as directed.
• Capture skits involving sword fighting.
• Follow shot instructions from the director during filming.
• Ensure footage is transferred to a disk on the same day.

Requirements

• Ability to move close to the action and follow the fighters during bouts.
• Willingness to run and be physically active during recordings.
• Capability to operate a camera, either provided or your own.

Nice-to-haves

• No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn is preferred.
