The Videographer/Photographer/Editor at Children's Hospital Colorado is a key member of the Brand + Creative team, responsible for creating compelling visual content that reflects the hospital's mission and values. This role involves collaborating with the marketing team and other internal clients to produce high-quality photography and video content for various communications. The position requires a strong understanding of brand standards and visual communication principles, as well as the ability to adapt to different creative disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Create videos from conceptualization to final product, including informational, storytelling, and interview videos.
  • Set up, film, and edit videos that adhere to brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities to film b-roll for hospital events and compile videos for web and social media.
  • Collaborate with other teams and external vendors on video projects and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Produce authentic photography for marketing materials, including images of team members, patients, and events.
  • Organize and upload photos to the digital asset management system.
  • Maintain and organize video files and manage YouTube and Vimeo channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in copywriting, journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, English, or a related field required.
  • Three years of relevant experience in an agency, studio, or corporate environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Canon DSLR and cinema cameras, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in film, TV, media, cinematography, or photojournalism.
  • Knowledge of post-production theory and current marketing trends.
