About the position

Bryn Mawr College is seeking a creative and conceptually minded Videographer/Photographer to join its Office of College Communications. This role is essential in representing the college through visual storytelling, enhancing its visual identity, and producing engaging photo and video content for various audiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Creative Services team and campus partners to fulfill photo/video requests and manage the college's digital asset management system.

Responsibilities

  • Create purposeful short- and long-form photo/video content for various audiences.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for strategic projects to be enhanced through photo or video.
  • Work with campus partners to fulfill photo/video requests and document college activities.
  • Deliver curated galleries or well-produced videos within established deadlines.
  • Launch and manage the college's new digital asset management system (DAM).
  • Develop and execute a strategy for the college's primary YouTube channel.
  • Upload and archive select imagery, ensuring accuracy of tags and metadata.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of relevant professional videographer/photographer experience.
  • Proven ability to serve as art director and manage photo and video shoots.
  • Software proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut, and Adobe After Effects for video; Lightroom and Photoshop for photography.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management software and effective workflows.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
