About the position

VTG is seeking a Program Analyst/Videographer to produce quick-turn video products for a government client. This position will be hybrid, based in the Washington, DC office. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content that meets the needs of military clients, particularly focusing on the U.S. Navy's policies, programs, and initiatives, especially in the areas of engineering, shipbuilding, and federal acquisition. The role requires a strong ability to quickly turn around video content suitable for posting on social media and other digital platforms. The candidate will perform all aspects of video production, which includes audio production, editing, and final formatting of video products. An important aspect of this role is ensuring that all finished products comply with Section 508 standards, making them accessible to all users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the technical requirements and creative aspects of video production, as well as proficiency in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Audition and After Effects. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the pay range for this role is estimated to be between $75,000 and $105,000 annually, depending on various factors such as work experience, education, and skill level.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency operating standard camera equipment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premiere.
  • 1-3 years post-education experience in video production.
  • A portfolio of video projects demonstrating previous work.
  • Must have active DOD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
