About the position

The Videographer & Social Media Marketer role at Get Skillz Basketball, LLC is a part-time position focused on capturing and promoting the training sessions of athletes through high-quality video and photography. The role involves editing content and managing social media platforms to enhance the company's online presence and engage with the community. This hybrid position allows for flexibility in working hours and location, making it ideal for creative individuals passionate about sports and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person training sessions and take high-quality photos and videos that showcase our athletes in action.
• Edit footage to create engaging short-form and long-form content.
• Post and manage our social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Send out promotional and personalized emails as needed using our MindBody software.
• Help grow our online community by engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages when necessary.
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and execute content ideas that align with our marketing goals and client needs.

Requirements

• Experience with Facebook marketing (MetaBusinessSuite, MetaPixel, GoogleAds)
• Experience in videography, photography, and social media marketing
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• A passion for basketball and sports culture is a huge bonus!

• Ability to commute to Plymouth, MI 48170 (Required)
• Ability to relocate to Plymouth, MI 48170 before starting work (Preferred)
• Willingness to travel 25% (Preferred)
