About the position

The Videographer at TWD & Associates is responsible for performing video operations, preventive maintenance, and video capture, as well as managing archiving systems. This role involves operating broadcast-quality audio and video equipment to document high-profile events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring high-quality production and customer service. The position requires a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance, which TWD is willing to sponsor for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain broadcast-quality audio and video documentation and recording systems.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain broadcast, production, and AV equipment.
  • Use professional video cameras in various taping formats for mobile and fixed scenarios.
  • Plan camera movements and make adjustments during live events as needed.
  • Execute multi-camera live event switching and camera operation.
  • Prepare recorded material for archiving following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor equipment performance, report issues, and process equipment for repair.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and collaborate effectively with team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize audio, visual, and power-related mathematics.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of audio-visual equipment.
  • Proficiency in common office productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor, patience, flexibility, and strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills with employees and managers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with live event production and multi-camera setups.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and post-production processes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $45,000 - $95,000.
