About the position

A Plus Garage Doors is seeking a dedicated and creative Videographer/Photographer to join their dynamic team in West Valley City. This full-time, hybrid position involves collaborating closely with the marketing team to shape promotional initiatives and enhance the corporate brand identity through visually stunning videos and photographs. The ideal candidate will possess a great attitude, be organized, professional, and creative, contributing significantly to the company's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Filming video and photo on set and on location, including some out-of-state travel.
• Working with creative teams and dispatch to plan video shoots.
• Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment.
• Editing footage after recording, adding music, sound effects, and transitions for final use.
• Producing and directing video and photo shoots.
• Building and maintaining a video and still image library for multiple uses.
• Preparing background film, also known as 'B' roll.
• Creating a hook or narrative for short form videos.
• Creating cinematic style long form videos.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video production, broadcasting, communications, photography, or fine art.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong multitasking skills for working with many crew members at once.
• Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and production team members.
• Knowledge of post-production techniques.
• Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods.
• Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting.
