About the position

We are an urban luxury creative collective dedicated to helping clients achieve their creative aspirations by providing a luxury creative space and services to produce their podcasts and creative content. We are seeking an experienced Videographer to become an integral part of our team! In this role, you will work closely with clients to film and edit their podcasts and creative content, ensuring that their vision is brought to life through high-quality video production. As a Videographer and Editor, you will be responsible for capturing and editing podcast episodes as well as creating engaging social media content and reels. You will also film studio and client events, collaborating with clients and our content and strategy teams to produce compelling and innovative content for external audiences. Maintaining and caring for all video, lighting, and grip equipment will be essential, as will performing maintenance and suggesting replacements and upgrades as needed. This position may require potential travel off-site with interviewees to shoot additional footage that will be used in compelling brand videos and podcast episodes. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strategic mindset, possessing the technical knowledge of video production and editing, and able to provide creative ideas and see them through to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Videographer and Editor for individuals recording their podcasts.
  • Capture/film and edit podcast episodes and social media content/reels.
  • Film studio/client events.
  • Collaborate with clients, content, and strategy teams to create compelling and innovative content for external audiences.
  • Maintain and care for all video, lighting, and grip equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and suggest replacements and upgrades as needed.
  • Potential travel off-site with interviewees to shoot additional footage for brand videos and podcast episodes.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in videography, video editing, and/or photography.
  • Experience operating A/V switcher.
  • BA/Associates in Multimedia/Film, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with audio engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency with DSLR Video Cameras.
  • Experience in creating videos and visuals as part of podcast production.
  • A strong video and/or photography portfolio is required.
  • An experienced eye in cinematography and art direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Full Frame Cinema cameras, studio lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Excellent sense of pace and timing; meeting established deadlines is a non-negotiable.
  • Must be efficient and able to turn around content quickly.
  • Must take creative direction and feedback well.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Must own cameras and equipment to supplement studio shoots when needed.
