As a videographer for Factory Athletics, you will be responsible for capturing raw video footage of baseball events, with a focus on offense, defense, and pitching evaluations and highlights. It is essential to ensure consistent quality in video production, paying close attention to detail in framing, lighting, and camera work. After the event, you will be required to upload the footage digitally via file-sharing platforms in a timely manner, ensuring that the content is readily available for review and editing. Responsibilities

  • Capture raw video footage of baseball events, focusing on offense, defense, and pitching evaluations/highlights.
  • Ensure consistent quality in video production, with attention to detail in framing, lighting, and camera work.
  • Upload event footage digitally via file-sharing in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Experience in videography, particularly in sports or live events (preferred but not required).
  • Access to your own video equipment (camera, tripod, microphone, etc.).
  • Camera must have either a digital zoom or a 200mm lens or greater to follow throws for certain positions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Must be available for one day in October/November 2024 (specific date to be provided based on location).
