About the position

The Videographer at Trinity Church & School is responsible for creating high-quality in-house videos that capture compelling stories and support the church's vision. This role requires expertise in video production, including planning, capturing, and editing, while adhering to tight deadlines and embracing creativity. The Videographer will also engage with volunteers and assist in various audio-visual tasks during services and events.

Responsibilities

• Be detailed oriented to technically capture the essence of the story through video.
• Excellent with visuals, composition, lighting, and editing.
• Assist in the creative planning, production, capturing, and editing of all items to create compelling stories through video.
• Create original media that will support the weekend service experience and overall vision of Trinity.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to regular deadlines.
• Capture and edit media pieces including bumpers, documentaries, interviews, man-on-the-street type videos, promo's, TV Commercials, announcement videos, testimony/ministry moments, web videos, sermon illustrations, and other projects as needed.
• Recruit and train volunteers as needed.
• Assist in the AVL Department as needed on weekend services and special events.
• Edit and upload audio and video sermons for the web.
• Edit archived video footage as requested.
• Ensure the video content created is of high technical quality.
• Be willing to cover additional responsibilities deemed as necessary for fulfilling the requirements of this position.
• Help develop the Vision, Mission and Values Statement of Trinity Church and Grow in personal discipleship through: Bible study, Life groups, Prayer, Giving of Tithe and Offerings.

Requirements

• Some college preferred in related field such as Video Production/Cinematography/Video Editing.
• Extensive experience with editing software.
• Familiar with audio capture, editing, and mixing techniques.
• Experience with DSLR-based and/or large-sensor type cameras.
• Knowledge of best practices regarding lighting for video.
• High level of interpersonal skills/communication.
• Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to changing environment.

Benefits

• Base pay range: $32K - $55K per year.
