About the position

The Videographer at POLA Marketing is responsible for creating high-quality video content that supports the agency and its clients. This role encompasses various stages of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production, requiring a versatile skill set and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The Videographer will collaborate with team members and clients to ensure the final product aligns with the intended messaging and branding.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit content for various projects.
• Handle basic lighting for mid to large size video productions.
• Assemble long and short form content to support multiple departments under tight timelines.
• Collaborate with other Videographer/Editors and Editor(s) for content creation.
• Support colleagues in pre-production and shoot production.
• Participate in larger shoots as an additional camera operator or Assistant Camera (AC).
• Ingest, organize, log, and clean up footage from shoots to prepare for editing.
• Collaborate with Brand Manager, Marketing, and Social teams to understand content messaging.
• Make suggestions for music, graphics, and effects within the edit.
• Export, re-format, and quality check all deliveries to ensure they meet specifications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience working as a Videographer and Editor.
• Strong experience with editing, postproduction, and graphics software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
• Motion graphics capabilities are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of various cameras, equipment, shooting, and editing styles and techniques.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality content under various conditions.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
