About the position

The Videographer position at C&G Consulting, Inc. is designed for a creative and technically skilled individual who is passionate about visual storytelling. The role focuses on producing high-impact video content that supports the Navy's strategic communication efforts and public affairs objectives. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a team, adapt to changing project requirements, and deliver compelling visual narratives that effectively convey key messages to targeted audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content that aligns with the Navy's strategic communication goals and public affairs initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the communications team to develop video project concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Operate a variety of video production equipment, including cameras, drones, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Manage the post-production process, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, and adding graphics or special effects.
  • Coordinate logistics for video shoots, including location scouting, securing necessary permits, and scheduling interviews or scenes.
  • Maintain an organized digital archive of video footage, projects, and related assets.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in video production technology and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of professional experience in broadcasting, video production, or audio-visual related field.
  • Experience in video editing/production using Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro.
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-camera location setup and shooting.
  • Ability to interact and partner with senior leadership.
  • Ability to provide creative solutions and products to support command information and messaging.
