About the position

As a Videographer at Bob Jones University, you will be an integral part of the production team, focusing on creating educational videos. This role involves managing video and audio recording, editing, and participating in both pre-production and post-production processes to ensure high-quality video content for BJU Press projects.

Responsibilities

• Operates studio equipment and manages various technical aspects of production.
• Captures live video recordings of instructors, primarily in the studio or at other locations.
• Serves as the videographer and editor for special segments.
• Collaborates closely with subject matter experts to produce a polished final product.
• Participates in pre-production tasks such as brainstorming and planning, as well as post-production tasks like video editing, audio mixing, and color correction.
• Handles data entry and file management for video content.
• Supports the Videography Supervisor with various projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in video recording and editing.
• Proficiency with studio equipment and video production techniques.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with audio mixing and color correction software.
