About the position

The Videographer at Trinity Church & School is responsible for creating high-quality in-house videos that capture compelling stories and support the church's vision. This role requires expertise in video production, editing, and a strong ability to work under tight deadlines while embracing creativity and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Capture the essence of stories through video with attention to detail.
• Assist in the creative planning, production, capturing, and editing of video content.
• Create original media to support weekend service experiences and the overall vision of Trinity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Capture and edit various media pieces including bumpers, documentaries, interviews, promos, and sermon illustrations.
• Recruit and train volunteers for video projects.
• Assist the AVL Department during weekend services and special events.
• Edit and upload audio and video sermons for the web.
• Edit archived video footage as requested.
• Ensure high technical quality of video content created.
• Cover additional responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

• Some college preferred in Video Production, Cinematography, or Video Editing.
• Extensive experience with editing software.
• Familiarity with audio capture, editing, and mixing techniques.
• Experience with DSLR-based and/or large-sensor cameras.
• Knowledge of best practices regarding lighting for video.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
