About the position

Hope is Alive Ministries is seeking a skilled Videographer to join their Media and Marketing Team. This full-time position involves capturing high-quality video content, editing footage, and producing engaging visual stories. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable working independently, with a passion for storytelling through video.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and set up video shoots, including lighting and audio.
• Operate and maintain video equipment.
• Edit footage into engaging content.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally to develop and execute video concepts.
• Manage and organize video archives.
• Conduct interviews.
• Manage live streaming for events.
• Produce content under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent years of experience).
• Experience in videography, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
• Portfolio of past work/projects.
• Ability to perform in individual and collaborative environments.
• Willingness to incorporate AI into editing workflow.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and engagement.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Sony Fx and Blackmagic Pocket camera systems.
• Proficiency in other video editing software such as After Effects or Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
• Experience with live streaming.
• Experience in communications, marketing, design, or IT.
• Familiarity with nonprofit sector challenges and opportunities.
