About the position

Bucked Up is seeking a skilled and creative videographer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage of events, products, models, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience in video editing software, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain video equipment, with expertise in Sony cameras and editing software such as Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Film a variety of subjects, including landscapes, products, models, and events, ensuring top-quality shots.
  • Arrange and adjust lighting on location or in the studio to achieve the desired effect.
  • Identify locations likely to generate optimal visuals, conducting tests to determine the best settings and equipment for each shot.
  • Plan and execute shot compositions in advance, occasionally creating mood boards or sketches to visualize ideas.
  • Use professional editing software to edit and enhance footage, maintaining high production standards throughout.
  • Perform tasks requiring physical activity, including kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of motivation, accountability, and independence.
  • Maintain an organized, structured workflow and demonstrate exceptional responsibility and reliability.
  • Prioritize effectively, manage deadlines, and satisfy client needs with minimal supervision.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, adjusting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ease.
  • Engage openly with team members, assistants, and clients, welcoming feedback and new ideas.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and customer service capabilities, with the ability to guide an assistant or work in tandem with a team.
  • Collaborate effectively, taking constructive criticism in stride and continuously improving.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and basic After Effects knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with Sony camera equipment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and editing techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Physical ability to carry out the demands of the role.
