About the position

ATA Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Videographer for a temporary assignment in Santa Fe, NM. The role involves creating high-quality video and audio content that supports equity initiatives and programs within the organization. The Videographer will work closely with the Communications team and various divisions of NMDOH, delivering compelling narratives that align with agency goals and enhance public engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create expert-level video and audio content that connects NMDOH with stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, edit, and deliver engaging content with a fast turnaround.
  • Make creative recommendations to enhance multimedia contributions.
  • Independently shape video storylines and pitch project ideas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to identify needs and produce video stories.
  • Lead video production and manage projects, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Develop and manage a calendar for digital asset content creation.
  • Secure permits and manage all aspects of production, including equipment setup and operation.
  • Produce and record radio scripts, voiceovers, PSAs, and podcasts as needed.
  • Edit video efficiently, ensuring accessibility and best practices are followed.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to set objectives and increase engagement through interactive content.
  • Participate in creative reviews to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
  • Manage the NMDOH YouTube channel and track analytics for future projects.
  • Create and maintain a searchable digital repository for media assets.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and suggest innovations for public health engagement.
  • Film meetings, conferences, and special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional visual storytelling and video content creation experience.
  • Must have own equipment and editing software/hardware.
  • Ability to travel within New Mexico and operate a state government-owned vehicle.
  • Physical ability to walk on uneven ground and lift/carry equipment as needed.
  • Expert proficiency in lighting, shooting, editing, and narrative storytelling.
  • Awareness of legal guidelines and agency protocols regarding video and image licensing.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wage of $25.00 - $31.00 depending on experience.
