About the position

The Videographer at AV Architects + Builders is responsible for producing engaging video content that aligns with the company's brand and mission. This full-time role involves pre-production, shooting, editing, and managing video assets, while also coaching team members on video technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and will be expected to create multiple videos weekly, contributing to the company's video strategy and culture.

Responsibilities

• Produce video content that aligns with the brand, mission, and goals of the company.
• Manage all aspects of video production including pre-production, shooting, and editing.
• Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras and lighting.
• Collect b-roll footage in-office and at construction sites.
• Interview staff and clients for video content.
• Create, upload, optimize, and report on content for the company's YouTube channel.
• Work closely with the sales team to determine video topics and priorities.
• Coach and educate the team on video technologies and best practices.
• Maintain video equipment and manage the video hosting platform.
• Use AI tools to enhance video production processes.

Requirements

• Proficient with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or similar).
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Motion is preferred.
• Proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and concepts.
• Understand basic and advanced composition techniques.
• Very detail-oriented with the ability to identify quality issues in audio and video.
• Proficient interview skills and ability to engage on-camera talent.
• Experience with AI tools related to video production.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced video editing software or platforms.
• Interest in modern home design and architecture.
• Experience working with high-end and luxury brands.
