About the position

Sweetwater, the nation's leading online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a full-time videographer to join their creative team. The role involves shooting, editing, and producing various video content, including product videos, demos, interviews, and branding projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong background in video production, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shooting, editing, and producing videos for Sweetwater.
• Cut, edit, and make corrections to videos prior to final production.
• Work in conjunction with the creative marketing team to come up with ideas for video shoots.
• Complete all assignments in a timely manner with outstanding quality.

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• A reel and samples of existing work (links to YouTube or Vimeo are welcome).
• Relevant degree or equivalent real-world experience (film school, film and video work, ad agencies).
• Passion for visual storytelling and marketing.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and shoots.
• Ability to turn around an entire shoot - from filming to post-production and revisions in a timely manner.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Adobe After Effects.
• Experience within the music industry, music retail, and/or music video production.
