About the position

GOLDLAW is seeking a professional videographer to join their team. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and dismantling audio and video equipment for various live and recorded events. The videographer will be responsible for recording, editing, and transmitting multimedia presentations while ensuring high-quality output. Responsibilities

  • Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment to record, edit, and transmit multimedia presentations.
  • Keep up with trending social media practices and channel usage.
  • Compose necessary footage from storyboards and insert closed captioning, graphics, special effects, and filters.
  • Familiarity with mirrorless/DSLR cameras, external lighting, and audio sources.
  • Design layouts of audio and video equipment and perform upgrades and maintenance.
  • Record and edit audio material and create videos using mobile apps.
  • Diagnose and perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of equipment.
  • Set up, clean, calibrate, maintain, and disassemble cameras and audio recorders.
  • Adjust camera settings based on various factors such as lighting and subject motion.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing pictures and sound feeds to ensure quality.
  • Edit videotapes by removing portions and adding video or sound as required.
  • Prepare background film or 'B' rolls and conduct interviews for film clips.
  • Inform users of audio and videotaping service policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of video production experience (preferred).
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Premiere.
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to shooting content on the go.
  • Great writing and editing skills for copy and captions.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Law firm background/experience (helpful but not required).
  • Owning camera, studio, and audio equipment is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
