About the position

The Videographer will be responsible for operating portable mobile cameras and peripherals to create photography and visual effects that align with the program's artistic and dramatic objectives. This role includes coordinating equipment installation, verifying functionality, and transferring collected material. The Videographer may also serve as an Assistant Producer during field productions and will take on the role of Video Editor for the captured footage. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, with on-call duties and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Camera Operator for video productions both in studio and in the field.
• Help train other Camera Operators as needed for various shoots.
• Serve as an Assistant Producer and Lighting Assistant as needed on various field productions.
• Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
• Edit video segments on various digital formats.
• Complete trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment.

Requirements

• High school graduate with a college degree in Television or equivalent desirable.
• Five years minimum experience in camera operation in field production.
• Five years' experience as a video Editor.
• Well versed in Broadcast camera operation.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment.
• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
• Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment.
• Knowledge of professional audio and/or video editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.

Benefits

• Salary range from $51,800 to $86,200 based on experience.
