About the position

The Videographer position at NCCER involves comprehensive responsibilities in video production, including writing, producing, shooting, and editing audio-video content. The role requires collaboration with the Senior Video Production Manager and Video Team Lead, and it encompasses both studio and off-site work. The Videographer will manage video production equipment, coordinate shoots, and ensure professional representation of NCCER during projects.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch ideas and write scripts for video content.
  • Organize shoots and coordinate with talent.
  • Operate camera and audio equipment during production.
  • Set up lighting for shoots and direct talent.
  • Download and manage footage during post-production.
  • Edit video projects to meet quality standards.
  • Care for and manage NCCER's video production equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of production equipment and software.
  • Travel frequently to off-site video projects as needed.
  • Conduct interviews and gather necessary b-roll and information.
  • Assist in video archive management and organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Radio/Television, Film, or related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience or four (4) years relevant work experience without a degree.
  • Television experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing needs.
