About the position

We are looking for a talented and creative freelance Videographer & Editor to work with one of our education clients. This role focuses on capturing and producing high-quality video content for various events, ensuring alignment with the client's branding and messaging goals.

Responsibilities

• Capture footage at various events related to the client's needs
• Edit and produce engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media and marketing collateral
• Ensure quick turnaround for certain events, with next-day edits required for specific short video projects
• Collaborate with the client to ensure that video content aligns with their branding and messaging goals

Requirements

• Proven experience in video production, with a portfolio showcasing event videography and editing
• Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and produce high-quality work, even on short notice
• Must be local to Austin, TX, and able to travel to various event locations
• Excellent attention to detail and creative storytelling ability

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with educational institutions or similar industries
• Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for video content
