As a Videographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality video footage that showcases the vibrant stories of our local businesses. This position requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional video content that adheres to our brand guidelines. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing raw video footage into our department storage, representing our business as part of the Made In Mississippi team, and providing excellent customer service. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for various video projects, ensuring that all videos maintain a consistent visual style. Additionally, you will manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography. Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video footage for various projects
  • Organize raw video footage into department storage
  • Represent the business as part of the Made In Mississippi team and provide customer service
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
  • Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
  • Manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Solid understanding of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, drone use (license preferred), and audio recording
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take creative direction and work independently on projects
  • Possess your own equipment

Nice-to-haves

  • Filming experience of 2 years (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel 75% (Preferred)
