Under the general direction of the Digital Communication Manager, the Videographer performs senior, highly advanced communications-related work to build the DSHS brand and increase public and stakeholder knowledge and awareness of public health issues. This role is crucial in creating visual content that effectively communicates public health messages and engages the community. The Videographer will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with the agency's goals and objectives, ensuring that all materials are informative, engaging, and accessible to a diverse audience. The position requires regular attendance and adherence to the agency's leave policy, with the expectation of performing other duties as assigned. In the event of a public health emergency, the Videographer may be required to work extended or alternate hours to support the agency's emergency response efforts.
