About the position

This position involves working as a videographer for a quirky docu-series that explores various communities in New York City. The project aims to blend humor and seriousness while diving into topics such as spirituality, sports, sobriety, comedy, activism, and mindful aging. The role is flexible, allowing for either participation in a single episode or ongoing collaboration throughout the series, with an emphasis on creating a comfortable environment for subjects rather than focusing solely on technical perfection.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot video content for the docu-series episodes.
  • Collaborate with the host to capture authentic insights from community members.
  • Bring positive energy to the shoots and help make subjects comfortable.
  • Utilize provided equipment or bring personal gear for filming.

Requirements

  • Experience in videography or cinematography.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with subjects and the host.
