The VIE Supply Chain Analyst position at Valeo is designed to support the Supply Chain Information Systems through comprehensive data analysis and collaboration with the Marketing team. The primary mission of this role is to analyze data related to supply chain processes and procedures, providing insights and recommendations based on educational knowledge. The analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure the integrity and accuracy of technical data associated with Supply Chain Information Systems, material control, and production planning master data. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and auditing technical data, creating and managing audit procedures to ensure data accuracy between physical flows and systems. The position also involves ensuring a smooth interface for new product introductions, engineering changes, and end-of-life processes within the Supply Chain Information System. The analyst will be expected to anticipate potential technical and system issues, proposing effective solutions and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the role supports new projects, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain operations. The responsibilities include data analysis and reporting, where the analyst will review the correctness of data entered into the Information System through auditing processes. They will analyze products, flow materials, inventory, and scheduling methods to assess the optimal structure and settings of these data in accordance with group recommendations. The analyst will also be responsible for timely reviews and updates of production data creation procedures in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams, as well as initiating the keying of new components and products. Furthermore, the analyst will create and update locations, packaging, and labels in the Supply Chain Information Systems, while also focusing on process improvements by monitoring settings and parameters relevant to the division and analyzing inventory gaps to make informed recommendations.
