The position is part-time, primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, with the potential for full-time work as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore vintage audio equipment including stereo receivers, amplifiers, speakers, turntables, and more.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electronic circuits and components.
• Utilize electronic testing equipment such as VOMs and oscilloscopes effectively.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams for repair work.
• Perform soldering and de-soldering of electronic components on circuit boards.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all repair tasks.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of extensive knowledge in the repair and restoration of vintage audio gear.
• Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering electronic components.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with electronic testing equipment such as volt/ohm meters and oscilloscopes.
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
