This program is designed for those who are eager to gain hands-on experience while receiving education from Arkansas State University - Beebe. As a participant in this program, you will be hired with the intention of entering or receiving education that combines online learning with practical work experience at our dealership. The program requires you to attend online classes one day a week while dedicating the remaining four days to working in our service department, where you will receive guidance from experienced professionals including the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and senior technicians. The role is centered around service-related activities, allowing you to actively participate in various project assignments that will enhance your skills and knowledge in the agricultural equipment sector. You will have the opportunity to shadow selected personnel, gaining valuable insights and experience in the service department. Your responsibilities will include performing basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, as well as established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products. You will also participate in required training programs to further develop your skills and maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all safety rules and regulations while completing your work assignments. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your time and materials used during your duties.
