About the position

The Virtual Auto Adjuster at Allstate is a remote position focused on reviewing and estimating damages for auto claims. The role involves utilizing advanced technology to conduct inspections remotely, while also engaging with customers to ensure a smooth claims process. The adjuster will perform various functions including customer service, investigation, negotiation, and documentation, all while working from home with occasional fieldwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and write estimates, supplements, and total losses on vehicles.
• Conduct remote inspections by analyzing photos and live videos.
• Investigate auto claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and video chat.
• Negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of claims in the system.

Requirements

• 12 months+ previous experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
• Proficiency in using virtual inspection tools and applications.
• Strong analytical skills to assess damages and write accurate estimates.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment.
• Familiarity with insurance policies and industry regulations related to auto claims.
