About the position

The Virtual Banking Assistant II plays a crucial role in the success of the Virtual Branch by providing exceptional customer service and financial advice to clients. This position involves engaging with clients through phone and video interactions, helping them navigate their financial needs, and connecting them with specialists for more complex services. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing client convenience through self-service options.

Responsibilities

  • Engage clients over the phone and video, providing strong customer service.
  • Offer financial advice and share products and services to meet client needs.
  • Partner with specialists to connect clients with experts for specialized financial needs.
  • Proactively prevent problems for clients and enhance their convenience.
  • Educate customers on self-service options for account access.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in banking or financial services with a track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in a relationship-oriented approach to deepen client relationships.
  • Ability to establish trust and build lasting relationships through effective communication.
  • Experience with financial planning tools and adherence to banking regulations.
  • Strong team orientation and commitment to a long-term career with the firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work Virtual Branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree or military equivalent preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with mass affluent clients is strongly preferred.
