About the position

As a Virtual Banking Assistant II in Consumer Banking, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by managing a diverse portfolio of client banking relationships. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships, and ensuring that clients feel valued and appreciated. You will engage with clients through phone and video communications, both inbound and outbound, to assist them with their financial needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with various specialists, including Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers, to connect customers with the right expertise for their specialized financial needs. In this role, you will adopt an advice-based approach to manage banking relationships, ensuring that each client receives tailored products and services that meet their individual needs. You will demonstrate success through a relationship-oriented approach, actively acquiring and deepening client relationships. Your ability to make personal connections, engage and educate customers, and listen attentively will be key to establishing trust and fostering long-term relationships. Additionally, you will show initiative in proactively preventing problems for clients and adapting to the ever-changing banking environment, making their lives more convenient by promoting self-service options for account access. Responsibilities

  • Manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring clients receive the best products and services for their needs.
  • Demonstrate success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
  • Make personal connections, engage and educate customers, and listen to establish trust and build lasting relationships.
  • Partner with specialists including Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers to experts for specialized financial needs.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • Outstanding financial planning skills and use of financial planning tools while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Strong team orientation with a commitment to a long-term career with the firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work Virtual Branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
