About the position

As a Virtual Banking Assistant III in Consumer Banking at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire, manage, and retain meaningful relationships with our customers, utilizing your financial knowledge to provide thoughtful solutions that address their financial needs. You will be an integral part of the Virtual Branch, contributing significantly to its success by engaging clients through phone and video interactions, both inbound and outbound. Your goal will be to ensure that customers feel appreciated and supported, acting as their advocate in navigating their financial journeys. In this position, you will proactively meet with assigned customers virtually, building lasting relationships and discovering their financial needs. You will tailor product and service recommendations to make their lives easier, including setting up self-service options that allow them to access their accounts 24/7. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with specialists such as Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers with experts who can assist with specialized financial needs. Adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements is essential, as is demonstrating excellent communication skills across various platforms. Your role will also involve influencing and educating customers about technology, ensuring they understand how to utilize our One Chase products effectively. You will need to possess the drive and initiative to provide financial options using a consultative approach while operating within established risk parameters and compliance obligations. This position requires a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in a dynamic environment, ensuring that you can meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customers and proactively meet with them virtually to build lasting relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
  • Make lives of customers easier by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
  • Partner with Specialists (Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including written, phone, and video, tailoring features and benefits of products and services to customers with differing needs.
  • Influence, educate, and connect customers to technology, delivering solutions that make our One Chase products work together.
  • Possess drive, initiative, and knowledge to provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach and operate within established risk parameters/tolerances.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
  • 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation.
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Ability to work Virtual Bank hours, including weekends and some evenings.
