About the position

As a Virtual Banking Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the success of the Virtual Branch by providing exceptional customer service to clients. This position involves engaging with clients through phone and video calls, offering advice, and sharing products and services to meet their financial needs. You will be responsible for proactively preventing issues for clients while adapting to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage clients over the phone and video, providing strong customer service.
  • Offer advice and share products and services to help clients meet their financial needs.
  • Proactively prevent problems for clients and maintain success in a changing environment.
  • Educate clients on financial options using a consultative approach.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients by making personal connections.
  • Operate within established risk parameters and meet compliance obligations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience with a client-first attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months customer service experience required.
  • Confidence in sharing advice and product knowledge with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Ability to operate within established risk parameters and compliance obligations.
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to learn products and services quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience in retail banking or financial services.
  • Experience in a consultative customer relationship role with proven success.
  • College degree or military equivalent strongly preferred.
