About the position

The Virtual Banking Assistant role focuses on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients in a virtual banking environment. The position emphasizes providing exceptional customer service, understanding clients' financial needs, and offering tailored advice and solutions. The assistant will engage with clients through phone and video interactions, ensuring they feel valued and supported while navigating their financial journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Operate within established risk parameters and meet compliance obligations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience with a client-first attitude.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Provide financial options for clients using a consultative approach.
  • Educate and connect clients to technology solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Build lasting relationships by engaging and educating clients.

Requirements

  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Ability to work Virtual Branch hours, including evenings and some weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree or military equivalent.
  • Experience in retail banking or financial services.
  • Strong desire and ability to influence and educate customers.
