About the position

As a Virtual Banking Assistant at JPMorgan Chase & Co, you will play a crucial role in the success of the Virtual Branch by providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients over the phone and through video calls, both inbound and outbound, ensuring that they feel valued and supported in their financial journey. You will offer advice, share products and services, and help clients meet their financial needs, all while maintaining a client-first attitude. This position requires you to be proactive in preventing issues for clients and to adapt to an ever-changing environment. In this role, you will need to demonstrate confidence when interacting with clients, sharing your knowledge of financial products and services. Building lasting relationships will be key, as you will be expected to educate clients on technology solutions and tailor offerings to meet their unique needs. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through email. You will also need to operate within established risk parameters and comply with internal and external obligations, including completing necessary training. The Virtual Banking Assistant position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and some weekends. You will be part of a team that collaborates to deliver the best possible customer experience, ensuring that clients receive the most appropriate solutions for their financial needs. This is not a remote position, and you will be expected to work from the office in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Ability to work Virtual Branch hours, including evenings and some weekends.
  • Drive and initiative to provide financial options for clients using a consultative approach.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience in retail banking or financial services.
  • Experience in a consultative customer relationship role with proven success in deepening client relationships.
