About the position

The position at Intuit involves providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, specifically focusing on business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business tax preparation, excellent communication skills, and an active credential such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Provide tax advice and full-service business return preparation.
• Assist customers with product/software inquiries and tax calculations.
• File tax extensions as needed.
• Create high-quality customer interactions that instill confidence.
• Document customer interactions and maintain records.
• Work towards meeting company key performance metrics and goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
