About the position

The Virtual Care Center Assistant Manager at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains is responsible for overseeing daily operations and project planning for Patient Care Coordinators and Virtual Care Center Assistants. This role focuses on ensuring staff operational efficiency and compliance while delivering a superior patient experience. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Virtual Care Center Manager to develop and implement operational practices, manage team performance, and provide training and support to staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and project planning for Patient Care Coordinators and Virtual Care Center Assistants.
• Manage team performance, including hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating staff.
• Create training materials and tools for staff development.
• Monitor staff efficiency and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
• Act as a resource for staff to address technical and operational issues.
• Manage payroll needs for non-licensed VCC staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Participate in interdepartmental communication to enhance patient and staff experiences.
• Lead team-building activities and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience in management and customer service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
• Experience in project management and multitasking.

• Previous experience in reproductive health, abortion care, or family planning.
