About the position
The Virtual Care Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for managing and leading a team of Telehealth nurses, overseeing the virtual patient care service. This role includes ensuring clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, focusing on patient satisfaction across various age groups. The manager is also tasked with resource management, personnel development, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of Telehealth nurses.
- Oversee the virtual patient care service.
- Ensure clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery.
- Focus on patient satisfaction for a broad range of patients.
- Manage human, fiscal, and other resources effectively.
- Develop personnel and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse is required.
- National Certification required (specialty certification within one year or managerial certification in accordance with AONE/AACN).
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience is required.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
