The Virtual Nurse role is a pioneering position that plays a crucial part in transforming the nursing scope of practice and advancing the nursing field. As a Virtual Nurse, you will engage with staff, patients, and families in innovative ways, providing essential support to bedside staff and enhancing the overall patient experience. The Virtually Integrated CareSM (VICSM) model is a groundbreaking approach to care delivery that provides 24/7 virtual access to highly experienced registered nurses (RNs) for both patients and the bedside care team. This program is designed to improve patient experiences and support interprofessional care providers by alleviating time-consuming tasks such as charting, discharges, admissions, care coordination, and patient education. By integrating the virtual nurse into the care delivery model, we aim to reduce nurse turnover, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver unparalleled quality in patient care.
