About the position

The Virtual Field Representative (VFR) at EVERSANA is responsible for the commercialization of Vertex Pharmaceuticals therapies through telecommunication with healthcare providers. This role involves delivering key clinical information, educational materials, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance awareness and understanding of Vertex products. The VFR will work remotely, engaging in various tasks including territory coverage and collaboration with Vertex employees to meet stakeholder needs. The position requires strong customer service skills, marketing acumen, and the ability to communicate complex medical topics effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned disease state and product training within required timeframes.
  • Deliver education-focused messages and disease-state information to selected healthcare providers (HCPs).
  • Partner with existing Vertex employees to build and execute business plans.
  • Enhance HCP awareness of Vertex products and clinical data.
  • Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate clinical conversations with patients.
  • Build trust and knowledge with HCPs to identify treatment gaps.
  • Achieve call activity and brand performance objectives set by the client.
  • Ensure accurate generation of sample and literature requests and follow up on product shipments.
  • Maintain database entries on targeted customer calls and product discussions.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to team leadership for improvement.
  • Comply with all company and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Work independently from a remote home office and cultivate assigned virtual territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in outbound Virtual/Tele-sales or field sales, preferably in healthcare or pharma.
  • Strong sales aptitude with documented sales results in competitive markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to learn complex medical topics and adhere to compliance guidelines.
  • Aptitude to converse with physicians and medical office staff.
  • Stable internet connection for VoIP calls.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in pain management is preferred.
  • Launch experience is a plus.
