About the position
Asurion is hosting a Virtual Hiring Event for the position of Delivery Driver and Sales Expert in Tampa, FL. This part-time role offers a competitive pay rate of $21.00 per hour, along with mileage reimbursement and a cell phone stipend. The position involves building relationships with customers and selling upgraded solutions, primarily focusing on delivering and servicing devices within 24 hours. The Delivery Driver and Sales Expert will also be responsible for providing in-person device setup and technical support for various consumer electronics, including smartphones and tablets. The role requires meeting customers face-to-face at their homes, ensuring a superior service experience, and upselling Asurion smart home products. Achieving sales and service goals is essential, and feedback and coaching will be provided to help employees grow in their roles. The position requires daily travel to various job sites and customer locations, which may involve navigating through heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions. The part-time schedule allows for flexibility, with hours typically between 4:05 PM to 9:00 PM, while full-time options are also available with shifts from 12:05 PM to 9:00 PM. Responsibilities
- Build relationships and sell upgraded solutions to customers.
- Deliver and service devices within 24 hours.
- Provide in-person device setup and technical support for smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
- Meet with customers face-to-face at their homes.
- Upsell Asurion smart home and other products.
- Achieve sales and service goals through feedback and coaching.
- Demonstrate integrity in serving, solving, and selling to customers.
- Travel daily to various job sites and customer locations.
Requirements
- Strong willingness to learn technology and sales or prior sales and/or tech experience in any industry.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) for transportation to/from customer visits.
- Use of a personal cellphone (no older than 3 models to the most recent model).
- Comfort working around pets that may be present in customer homes.
- Comfort working during evening hours.
