About the position
Extra Space Storage is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious self-starters to help manage our self-storage facilities. We are hosting a virtual hiring event to fill various openings for Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers at multiple locations in the Clifton Park, South Glens Falls, Kingston, Saugerties, and Albany areas. The event will take place on Friday, January 17th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM US/Eastern. Interested candidates should register for the event and choose a time for their interview. We are looking for reliable employees who are good communicators and have a passion for helping people.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
- Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
- Maintain facilities - sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members.
- May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
- Strong computer skills.
- Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, property management, or related fields.
