About the position

As a Virtual Marketing Event Specialist at Global Technology Associates, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility of the company's products and services through innovative event marketing strategies, particularly focusing on virtual events and webinars. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of webinars are executed flawlessly, from technical support to post-event follow-up. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of webinars, which includes planning, execution, and reporting. Your role will involve collaborating with various cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Campaigns, Brand, Social, and Paid Media, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will document project work meticulously, maintaining program guides, project plans, and performance reports. You will also manage communications and webinar calendars to promote events internally, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. After each webinar, you will oversee lead flow and manage the tasks associated with following up on virtual events, ensuring that all leads are nurtured appropriately. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing and experience in managing virtual events. You will need to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effective time management abilities, and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing situations. Your proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, will be essential for daily tasks, along with experience using Salesforce, Webex, and On24. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project management of webinars, ensuring all timelines and objectives are managed and met.
  • Provide technical support for the webinar platform, including hosting webinars and troubleshooting issues.
  • Execute tactical plans to achieve established goals within webinar workstreams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Campaigns, Brand, Social, and Paid Media to manage tasks and complete work.
  • Document completed project work in program guides, project plans, and performance reporting.
  • Manage communications and webinar calendars to promote events internally.
  • Oversee lead flow for post-event follow-up and manage associated tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and virtual events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Webex, and On24.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management abilities and capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to various situations and work well in a team environment.
