About the position

The Virtual Moderator position is a remote role focused on facilitating engaging sessions for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The moderator will create schedules, oversee activities, and provide technical support during sessions to ensure a smooth experience for participants. This role requires collaboration with a team to assess and address skill gaps within the program.

Responsibilities

• Create segment schedule for Activity Plan
• Maintain advanced working knowledge of relevant applications, services, and technologies
• Provide assistance with software and/or technology issues to maintain an organized session
• Oversee necessary paperwork including material lists, attendance logs, and Medisk hours
• Lead various segments throughout the day to engage participants
• Support organizational development by collaborating with the team to assess knowledge, skill, and ability gaps
• Provide oversight for the review and evaluation of training new Moderators

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
• Advanced knowledge of computer technology, including logging into Zoom sessions, troubleshooting, screen sharing, and muting
