About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Verizon will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cisco SD WAN, Juniper Mist, and HPE Aruba Central technologies. This role is responsible for commercializing products from ideas, engaging various stakeholders, and enhancing the Virtual Network Services (VNS) portfolio. The position requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and enterprise customer needs, with a focus on driving innovation and aligning product development with market demand.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide industry expertise for SD-WAN, SASE, and other VNS product development and distribution.
• Understand market trends and drivers of next-generation network and security needs, working closely with engineering teams to support product line development.
• Provide technical expertise and support multiple product managers in defining product strategy and developing the product roadmap for the VNS portfolio.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, leading technical discussions on Managed Enterprise network services and various SD-WAN vendors.
• Communicate with leadership and provide regular updates on future industry trends and current product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience in Virtual Network Service, advanced networking, or telecommunications products.
• Experience working with engineering teams for new products and existing product enhancements.
• Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offerings across MNS and SD-WAN portfolio.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating them to excel in uncertain circumstances.
• Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
