The Virtual Registered Nurse (Virtual RN) position at Holy Cross Health involves planning and providing professional nursing services in a virtual setting while physically working on-site at the central HUB in Silver Spring, Maryland. The position requires collaboration with the Nursing Care Team and offers opportunities for advancement through the Clinical Advancement Program.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite in the Virtual RN Hub at Silver Spring location.
• Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate optimal provision of care through digital platforms.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to support the plan of care.
• Ensure seamless transitions of care across the continuum.
• Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
• Perform roles of mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, including adult condition management.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
